Dreamscape Online.

A massively-multiplayer game that made the whole world go nuts for it only a day after it was announced, in more ways than one. A advancement in virtual technology that allowed the users to buy their way into a personal system either at home or one of the many "Game Buildings" that focused on the product in question. Needs such as water, food and general living activity were taken care of through the device used to shift into the game. Meaning that eating inside it would replenish your living body and so on. Done in such a way that typical gamers simply didn't understand or even care for really. Who wanted to discuss schematics over such brilliant technology when you could use it to blow up a dragon on the moon? Exactly. Now shut up and choose your class.

That was the thing that "Esk" had heard the instant he logged into the game about a day or so ago. Turned out that the creators of the game in question had a twisted sense of humor. Lucky for him he hadn't been distracted by it much and went onto creating his character in a flash of fanboy hurry. Not much could motivate him, but he spent a long time on working on the best crafting he could build up at the screen for hours on end. Of course it ended up turning out to be merely a longer haired version of his real looks, with physical enhancements and more youthful features. Go figure. Still, he had picked the "Swordsman" class and directed it towards the "Thief" path with the added elemental power of "Nature" to end it all off.

A strange combination considering he had focused on making sure his character would only have access to one blade at a time. Well, in fighting style anyway. It did the job though so Esk wasn't complaining. Now if only he could find a better sword than this hunk of junk he was currently walking around with clipped to his side. Enchanted items were usually stronger than their normal kind, but it was still a "newby" weapon that he desperately wanted to replace. Why couldn't he have got that rare 2+ Red Katana drop from the beginner dungeon? Ah well. "Huh. Calling time already?" muttered the warrior as he held up a hand and gave a movement of fingers through the air. A blue light cast itself over his face and a long, colorful screen of text met his gaze with enticing beeps.

MENU
ESK (LYSANDER - SWORDSMAN - LEVEL 1)

This went on for quite a length and described numerous things about him. Including inventory space and curious things such as hunger levels. However the thing he was focused on was the in-game time and he tapped it with a slight yawn. 9:02am. Wait, what. It was Morning? Gyaah, how long had he been trying to farm that thing? Time flew by. Sadly, this also meant that he needed to get to the nearest place to eat and chow down. Maybe pick up a quest or two. Who knows. He just had to be careful to avoid the event known as 'Calling' - Meaning the usual street boasts of players smashing each other into the ground and trying to win a reputation that was pretty much pointless in a world of numbers. Added lulz and WTF's included.

MAP

Ruskton? Surprised he was still in the lowest-level town.

Oh wait.

Esk looked at his level with a blank look and pouted before spinning on his foot.

"Least' I have some gold saved up. BBQ here I come."

"Cheap Gold! Very Cheap! WWW.VERYUBERG-"

"GO FUCK YOURSELF!"

Blocked.

Welcome to Dreamscape Online.

Enjoy your stay!

To say that Princey was lost would be the understatement of the century and then some.

Not lost physically of course. The place she started off in, Rust something or other, was well in sight from the tree she sat in just outside the town. There were too many people there, so she'd gone a ways off to be on her own. Thinking was hard enough for her as it was, she couldn't even begin to try when there were a million people talking at once.

No, Princey was wondering what in the wide world of whatever she supposed to do now. She'd never even touched a video game in her life, and now she was diving head-first into this. Was she supposed to do something? Talk to someone? What was it?

The girl couldn't help but think this was all a bad idea as she played with her necklace. Still, she had started this, and darn it all if she wasn't going to try and finish. She was going to find the person she was looking for if it was the last thing she did.

Determined, Princey jumped down from the tree and headed back into town, hoping she'd get an idea of what to do.

Running through the town without a care in the world, Darren Mujo grinned as he jumped up, out of a nearby tree. It seemed he was taking this game and all of its mechanics for a ride, though because it was an online experience it probably seemed silly to some. He touched down in the town of Ruskton. With a small sigh he looked around at everything. It wasn't much, but it was fun.

He'd been in the game about four days, using the time to explore and get used to his character. He had done a few missions, but not enough to get past Level 1. He held his stomach lightly and said, "Gettin' kinda hungry..." He started to walk, more calmly now, around town, searching for a place to eat seeing as eating in the game filled him up in the real world.... somehow...

With the event "Calling" currently in effect, a particular female player was using this to her advantage. Coming out from a nearby alleyway, a half wolf girl shoots out into the streets, glaring at the incoming Esk in front of her. Her clothes and hair, although white, were tinted a light red as she was surrounded by a red aura entirely, indicating that she was under the Berserk status effect.

Although Diaberu was not much of a PvP person, she still liked to partake in events. She's not very high leveled, unfortunately, since fighting isn't the main focus she does in this game. She only meant to fight a few people that were annoying and bugging her (that and trying to rob her of her gold and items...), but forgetting the effects of Berserk, she was on a rampage that she couldn't control. Luckily for her, her stamina was exhausted as she falls to teh ground, feeling the berserk effects fading away.

"Ahh....Shit....That wasn't a goood idea." she mutters, sitting up as she felt a bit weaker. "Where am I anyways...? This town is too confusing...."

"This place is boring as Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!"

A white-haired young man kicked his head back as he whined out loud in the center of Ruskton, catching a few off stares for his demeanor. He had just finished enough quests to get a newcomer into the world of Dreamscape, but to a long time gamer such as Ace, they were just add-ons to the tutorial, and he HATED tutorials! Under the guise of his character Talon Apollo, he kicked a bit of dust into the air and threw his hands up, letting them slap down lazily onto his lap. Blowing a puff of air out of the corner of his mouth, he managed to move some of that snow hair behind the pointed tip of his elven ear. He pivoted on his heel and turned to his travel companion, palms out in a stature of "Is this really it?"

"I mean, like, they can manage to make a device that can transport our freakin' minds into a virtual world and keep us alive while doing so, but they can't make a game where we don't start in the middle of fucking nowhere killing over-sized pests? I'm sick of killin' rats, Ghosty! I'm sick of killin' rats!"

His companion didn't much care for what he had to say, or rather, was not in the frame of mind to do so. It was all still so surreal to him. He looked down at his feet from behind the eyes of his assassin's mask, taking the time to bend each one individually. It had been years since he could do that. Everyone else had been enjoying their magical powers and weapons, but to Caleb Conway, aka Ghost, this was the true magic. It wasn't real, but as long as he could survive, it could be. Such a peaceful moment for the figure who, in any other context, seemed more dangerous than appreciative. He was slightly taller than his archer travel mate, decked from head to toe in a black hooded suit, face covered by a crude metal mask. On his back, a black sniper rifle found home. Seeing the large hooded figure doing nothing but stare at the ground, Talon raised an eyebrow.

"Ghost?"

There was no response.

"Ghoooooooooooost?"

Still, nothing. Talon facepalmed and shook his head. Frickin' newbies, ruining everything. All he was trying to do was be a good cousin, but his patience was never very thick.

"Caleb!"

The masked man snapped out of it, looking up to the irate elf. While no physical expression could be seen, and no noises could be heard, a small blip appeared just before his face. A simple "?".

"You gotta remember your screen name, dude!"

Talon sighed.

"This missions blow, man. Let's, I don't know, go back to Rusty town or Ruskerville or whatever the hell it is."

His cousin was such a spazz. Ghost nodded once, another blip popping up in front of him.

"KK :/"

The two said nothing more, the shadowy sniper following the elven archer clad in white, hands folded behind his head as he walked into Ruskton.

Esk scratched his pale cheek at the sight of the glaring and obviously worn-down wolf-girl, only to set off towards her with his hand on the hilt of his sword. It was always a good idea to be careful. After all, there was not much stopping other players from demanding duels from one another than general equitique and reputation, but all bets were off when PVP events went live. It was even worse outside of towns. A object attached somewhere on his chest suddenly let loose a small glow before he almost casually jumped up with a height that definitely shouldn't have been possible for one as low-leveled as him. It also came with the added factor of a strange comical 'bounce' sound effect and only ended when the long-haired man landed behind the distressed woman 'blocking' his path with a shrug.

Boing!

"You're in the North of town. Not too far from the main gates and the market district."

The voice of the Swordsman called out casually as he continued walking down the path with his face pointed forward. No doubt he had heard her talking to herself quite a bit and had unknowingly answered her. Even if she hadn't asked. Though something did make him pause when he glanced back at her over his shoulder and flicked strands of his dropping hair. She appeared to be low on HP. Which wasn't a surprise if she had actually been involved in the ruckus now going on in certain parts. What was a surprise however was the fact that it wasn't hard to see her Level in this close of a raw study. Sure, the UI blocked that sort of thing when looking at other people but he had definitely noticed the way she used her Berserk skill.

"Never thought I would see the day when a low-level gets involved in PVP..."

Well, wasn't his business. He shrugged and sighed, simply giving a small wave before he finally set off again down the path leading up to the square of Ruskton with his back to the girl. You had to be an idiot to not hear the words being tossed around by those that had observed their little interaction though. Including the loud question of a rare, non-human species wandering around. That was far from common and usually most received the normal choice to be human. Nothing else. Safe to say this made a great deal of envy form in the playerbase when a elf or beastkin popped up with features. It also spawned a huge amount of wonder. Even he could admit to being fascinated by it. Lets face it, who wouldn't want to trail after a living, breathing catgirl? Yeah, didn't think so.

Princey couldn't help but stare as she looked around Ruskton. This was all so strange to her. Though it was mostly humans, she could see the occasional elf or beast person and she couldn't help but stare for a moment. Was this always how games were? She was still get used to her own body in here, she couldn't imagine adding a tail or something. And she was going to be able to turn into a dragon later or something, as cool as that was.

Well, that'd probably be a long time down the road at least.

The teen turned her attention from the poor animal-person she's been staring at when she heard a funny sound. Turns out it was a person hopping, making a rather cartoony jump sound. She couldn't help but laugh. It didn't seem to suit that person at all. "What in the world? How did you do that?" Princey couldn't help but ask.

Darren walked until he saw someone on the ground. He walked over to her and said, "You looked pretty worse for wear down there... You know it's pretty dangerous around this time." His eyes moved back, seeing someone who was eyeing them. He grinned as he dashed forward. He had great speed, even for a Level 1 user. His fist was glowing brightly as he punched the male in the stomach. He fell out on the ground, defeated. A few things were obvious from the exchange. The one defeated was a Level 1 user as well. He likely wanted some free EXP from defeating the fox girl. He was also too focused on her. If he has seen Darren coming, the attack wouldn't have succeeded. Darren got lucky, but he wasn't making it look that way.

"I'm feelin' ignored, here," he said, indicating that person wanted the wolf girl. "Pretty interestin' look by the way. Let's get outta here before I have to rough up a few more guys..." Despite his demeanor, the attack took quite a bit of his stamina, he couldn't just keep doing it over and over. It was the main reason he didn't go out of his way to PvP.

"L-Low Level...WHAT?!" She hisses, glaring at him as she watches him walk off. Not knowing his level at all, she staggers up, dusting herself off as she takes a look at her map. "Whatever...I only meant to deal with those jerks..." She could see that he was right when telling her where in the town she was...a good thing too since she was pretty hungry and low on HP.

Diaberu took the map down before noticing Darren punching a guy far off. Blinking in confusion, she merely shrugs as she turns around and starts to walk off to the market Area. "Maybe I can actually get some food before I get jumped again....Sheesh, why do people keep targetting me? Is it because of the hair or something?"

"Wadya see, Ghosty?"

Talon scratched the side of his face, giving out a yawn of boredom as his looming partner crouched on one knee, rifle in hand, eye....er.....eye of mask pressed onto the scope of the sniper rifle. The cap of the scope flipped over to the right, an almost deranged looking smiley face placed on it, somehow amplifying the already impressive range stat of the sniper. He had dedicated most of his stats and items toward that stat, figuring a sniper had no real need for defense or physical power if he could end it from miles away. Luckily, this wasn't that far. The mute brought down the scope, and turned to the elf in white. Words popped up in a faded blue light.

"PvP. Werewolf, Chi Warrior, and......some others."

Talon sighed.

"PvPs in this town? Fuckin' noobs. Hey, they got anything useful?"

Ghost placed his eye back onto the scope, zooming in even closer to the people in the street. The text began to pop up behind his head this time, keeping him from having to break focus.

"Beta Items. Nothing great. Sad Shoot?"

"Naw, no need yet. If anything we could go mess with 'em a little bit? See if we can make the doggy bark?"

Ghost stood back up to his decent height, placing the rifle back on his, well, back. He turned, the blue light forming into a simple emoticon.

"XD"

"Ya like that, huh?"

Talon slapped Ghost on the shoulder in a friendly way, and the two continued into the town. They didn't care about whatever calling was going on. It was always a team affair with them. Plus, he had some people to make fun of, and honestly, that's all Talon ever really wanted.

"Bunny Ensignia."

Esk didn't even pause in his walking and trailed straight past the asking girl with a yawn breaking past his lips. He did make a gesture to the object clipped near his chest though in the shape of two white rabbit ears. A very simple answer to her question. If only one that didn't explain much to the bright-eyed tomboy staring at him. It was like he wasn't embarrassed to be hopping around like a bunny or to look as he did. If anything, the only reason he even stopped before reaching the end of the turning road was because his eyes had caught a glimpse of something on her form. Putting it bluntly, he was staring at the chest of the girl eyeing his beta item directly in the middle of a openly populated market. Slowly a hand lifted and a whistle extended out towards her, focused on the target of his dark gaze.

"...Well, waddya know. Didn't expect that."

He shook his head suddenly with a thought poking him and he refused to say anything more. The looks he was getting from a few passing female players could have burned through metal. Evil eyes border-lining psychotic and edging on the urge to smack him over the head. Not that he really paid attention to this. He just sort of shrugged and move towards the nearby food-stand to order up a meal. Which didn't go over too well considering that owner was one of the female players that had been staring daggers at him the entire time. The only reason the seller didn't say more was because of that bag of jingling gold attached to his hip. He wanted BBQ. She had it. Seconds later he was chewing it down with closed eyelids and a seemingly content hum hinting on ecstasy.

"Hair? Might be the ears. Bend over so I can pet them one day,"

Okay. So he wasn't out of earshot of that little discussion.

Oh, so it was that Bunny Insignia that made him do that. Princey couldn't help but laugh to herself a bit more. It seriously didn't seem to suit him. Though she supposed she barely knew the guy, so she couldn't really judge.

Her laughter died away when she saw him staring at her...chest? That couldn't be right, could it? Though she was a little more busty in this game than real life, annoyingly, she was still as flat as a board. She had made very much sure of that. So what was he staring at?

Unless...

She dashed after the guy and grabbed his shoulder before taking off her necklace with her free hand. "Hey, do you recognize this?" Princey asked as she held the jewelry in the stranger's face.

Darren placed his hand on his stomach again. He had done his good deed for the day, now he was hungry. He went to the BBQ area, grabbing some food from the individual that had just order, mostly because he didn't have much money of his own. He walked over to the girl again, not having much else to do other than talk to her. He ate what he has as he looked down at her and said, "You do have some interesting ears... but to each their own... Anyway, its been fun, but I'm gonna find somethin' else to do. Maybe get a little gold..."

He turned, tossing the bone and remains in the trash. He didn't have any intent on fighting on an empty stomach, but now that he was fed he could have some fun. It was time to start the party.

Seeing the Bunny Insignia on her, she blushes madly, glaring at the swordsman before him looking at Princey's chest. "Freaking PErvert..." She mutters, her ears flat as she follows them to the market place. She goes over and gets some BBQ before her ears shot up and twitched, hearing Esk's comment about her ears. It didn't help that Darren had to add on to that as she grips onto the table, trying her hardest not to just downright lash out. When her food came, she starts to eat fast and furiously, getting odd looks from people surrounding her before standing up.

"Thanks for the food..." She grumbles, shooting another glare at Esk before walking out of the area. "Now then....Probably a good idea to do a few quests....Tehre should be one over to the east side of town..." She mutters to herself as she walks away.

The black and white gunmen had made their way into the northern section of the town, weaving around PvP battles like it was part of the game itself. It wasn't the worry of having to fight, they had that part covered. It the was the fact that facing every other Johnny owns a game out there would take up a lot of time and draw way too much attention, and that wasn't the excitement Talon was looking for. He was rather curious as to why so many people were eating BBQ. Like, come on, there's more than one place to eat in this world, right? He hoped so. Just as they had turned, the one thing he didn't want approached them. Great, a dude looking for a PvP. Talon muttered a curse under his breath, then looked up to the sniper at his back.

"That one of 'em?"

The masked sniper nodded his head once, his gear jingling just slightly to give his form at least a bit of sound. The blip of a speech box formed in front of him yet again, asking the simple question.

"Shoot?"

"Man, what is it with you? You wanna shoot everyone in the game or somethin'?"

Talon turned back to the approaching Chi Warrior, always prepared to go for the bow draped around his body.

"If he goes for it, we give him the ol' bait n' switch."

His blank stare grew a bit confused, with a blink following it,

"...Something I said?"

Esk paused and nibbled on his last stick of BBQ with a loud 'nom nom' sound echoing loudly throughout the street as he began to move slightly while consuming the obviously paid for food. The street and pretty much everyone on the outside got a front-row seat to the sight of the raven haired girly-man lifting a hand over the head of the person that just stole a piece of his lunch. Then, it was brought down casually after reaching a close proximity. Quite literally, he was patting him on the head. Or at the very least making a motion of doing so like a puppy or a cat that had just been fed. His dark eyes were staring straight at the fighter and his head was arched to one side through his continued eating with the single hand. Still very much "petting" the fellow male with a curious glint in his stare. "Well? Go after her, dummy."

At least three people fell over in unison at that. It was only until he tossed away his last bone that he turned back to the girl holding up the necklace. His eyes blinked slowly and he ran a hand through his hair with a flick of it over his shoulder, his glance now more or less focused on the object in question. Indeed he appeared rather enraptured with it, as if he had some idea of what it was or as if he had seen one before. Either way, he did at the very least decide to explain himself now after further prodding by the poor tomboy. "I do. Why?" In a flash he was in her face, so close that she could feel his breath on her face. He smelled unusually like flowers for a guy that had just scarfed down a butt-load of yummy, nommable meat.

Eyes were literally inches away from one another and a fingers lightly touched the necklace with intrigue.

Then, with the same nifty agility he bounced back with another bunny hop and his arms behind his head,

"Oh. That's why. Neat."

Princey blinked a few times wondering what the heck just happened there. And wondering if he'd gotten barbeque sauce in his hair when he ran his hand though it, but that thought didn't really matter. What did matter, though, was the fact that he knew what her necklace was. How the heck did she get this lucky?

"Hey, wait up!" She called, running after the stranger and once again grabbing his shoulder. "I'm looking for the person who this necklace belongs to. Do you know them? Will you tell me where I can find them?"

While everyone else was going off on their own, Darren's mind was wandering, thinking about the next quest he could be doing. He saw the two males, blinking as he pointed to his own ears and said, "Hey, nice ears ya got there. Any idea where a good quest might be. That girl seemed to be headin' to one, but I'm more of the loner type." He didn't seem interested in doing PvP, but he did want to fight, so he was looking for quests instead. It seemed fair enough, but he did basically make fun of the archer in the process, even though that wasn't really his intent.

"Yeah, nice face, bub!"

Talon raised an eyebrow at the remark about his ears, moving his head as to cover them with his ears. He snarled, but the sniper behind him did not respond with a physical movement. A large "Lulz" appeared over his face and disappeared shortly after. Talon turned to face him, arms out to his sides.

"Oh now you're getting it on it too?"

Talon snapped back to the fighter, hands on his sides with the shake of a head. Nobody could handle themselves anymore, but he might as well point the way. Baby sitting was never fun, after all.

"Tell ya what, kiddo. My travel buddy and I are kinda seekin' a thrill ourselves, and I know you got this loner thing going on, really deep and mysterious of you, by the way, but a quest sounds pretty good........"

As he spoke, another speech bubble appeared just out of Talon's view.

"????"

"So how 'bout you tag along with us, we go whoop some ass and get some jingle in our pockets?"

As soon as she heard a comment about 'ears', Diaberu's ears pricked out, stopping as she turns around and listens onto their conversation. Her ears flicked as she saw the two elven boys, seeing one of them talking through the chat text rather than the microphone. Normally, she would have just continued to walk off on a quest herself since she's not very social and has no friends as of yet, but why not join up with those guys?

"If you're looking to do a quest with people, would it be ok if I joined you guys?" she asked, walking up to them as she crosses her arms. "I was on my way to do one, but I thought it'd be better for me to do it in a group...I....I rather not have a bunch of punks coming after me again..." The guys tht she ran into were a higher level then her own, but not high enough for her not to beat up...better not to run into them again anyways.

"So? You wouldn't mind me coming would you?"

Darren looked at the two, then to Diaberu. He looked as if her was actually thinking it over. He hadn't done anything in a group at all before. However, if he was going to fight or do a quest, it would be better to have more people with other skills around. It would be better for him to accept their help. That's what any normal person would do, but Darren wasn't normal.

"You know what they say about crowds..." he said lightly, then gave a small grin. "You need one to start a good party. Let's see what we can do together." Darren was just normal enough to know a good thing when it slapped him in the face. There was no point in doing it alone if someone was gonna offer help to him. "Since you were gonna do a quest, you know where one is, right? I was kinda gonna wander around until I found somethin'."

"Know them? Well, I've got a good idea who it is. "

Esk rubbed the back of his head as he stood there looking at the tomboy with curious eyes. It was downright obvious to see that he did know more than he was letting on. The raven haired lad actually appeared to be expressing something other than bland cheer and boredom for once, a smile trying to break through those straight as-a-line lips. It failed but the thought was definitely there. He continued to walk down the market pathway and made a gesture for her to follow, his hair waving in the wind behind him and making a rather odd scene indeed. It was like they were a new couple, only with the genders flipped around. One distictively feminine and the other quite boyish. Either way the bunny-hopper tossed her a casual shrug at her questioning look and continued,

"Where they are? Not a clue. I'm sure I'll bump into them sooner or later though."

Still, he didn't go much beyond that and made a beeline for obvious NPC hammering down on a anvil. You usually couldn't tell players and non-player characters apart at first glance because of how dangerously realistic they were, but there were certain signs here and there besides the obvious lack of a UI. One being that they treated the world around them as semi-real. Sure, there were frequent role-players who took joy in doing that but nothing compared with how the AI took to it. Of course there was a reason a person would only state it as semi-real. A few NPC had open knowledge that things were a game and used the lingo in such a form that helped show this. Enchanters and blacksmith being a good example.

Then there were ones that both freaked many out and turned others into fanboy idiots. Literally. He could name one off the top of his head without a problem. There was a angelic-like woman in the center of town in a green school-girl like uniform and billowing pink-silver hair, all wrapped up in a glare of red eyes over her features that gave hint to her beauty. She was the picture of highborn nobility, with the added voice to boot. She was also a complete snob who snubbed pretty much every attempt to talk to her. Many had attempted to suss out why she was there at the clocktower and what her ultimate goal was. Others just hung around and stared at her. The few that had enough balls to hit on her were pretty much insta-killed with a kick.

She acted like a very angry Tsundere without the affection.

It was only until one unknown player talked to her at an ridiculously high-level in this newbie town that her NPC classifications was shown. Supposedly everyone "lower" than a certain point would be ignore, treated like crap and then told to go away. Since most new players were complete dicks half-the-time it wasn't surprise that whoever programmed this damned world placed her there to crush a few egos. That or said programmers were just massive douches. You had to be at a decent level to get any reaction from her life-like personality and the higher the level, the better the reaction would be. Since the game was so new - nobody had a good idea of what her 'questline' completely was. She had quite the fanbase now though. Disturbing, but even then he couldn't quite remember her name.

What? He was Level 1. He wasn't about to "die" and lose EXP.

"Another? You got the gold?"

He blinked and took his money-pouch off his side before tossing it the blacksmith. Seconds later he also handed over the sword. Smack upon smack of a hammer and the blade had gained a nice new sheen to the bronze makeup, appearing sharper than it orginally was without really expressing how the older man had done such. Esk simply grabbed the blade and raised it to his eyes, studying it slowly with information flashing over the UI. COST: 120gp. - Bronze Sword 1+ - Made from a crappy essence of metal and designed only to kill the weakest of monsters. Rusty edge replaced with new coat and modified to match the joined grip. Received from a quest-giver and upgraded once through 'Yograr the Blacksmith' by owner. VALUE: 350gp. SLOT 1: NONE.

Well, that was lucky. Now if only he could do it a second time without it breaking. The 25% chance of it doing so wasn't worth it.

Now what was he doing again?

Oh. Right.

"Why are you even looking for them anyway?"

Esk turned, raising a single eyebrow while lifting the weapon over his shoulder and keeping his face suspiciously calm.

'I like this pose. Like it a lot.'

"Do I know where one is?"

Talon scratched his cheek with a look that an adult would give a small child after asking if the moon really was made of cheese. it was adorable to see all the people who had never mastered game logic. It was the first town, quests were literally everywhere. You just had to know where the right spot was, after all. He looked up to the large HUMAN (GRRRRR!) sniper standing next to him, expressing with his eyes for him to follow his lead. Ghost found this humorous. What was he going to do, say something wrong?

"Of course I do! It's town one, dude! There's freakin' quests all over the joint! All you gotta do is wlak out of the town, and some guy will come runnin' up goin' "Oh help me, help me! Some monster took my family fortune into a dungeon!" That's rule #1 of the game!"

The sniper, while still out of sight, shrugged to the fighter and the berzerker. His cousin was quite the loud mouth, but most of his quips where true. He had taken to just shutting up (as if he had a choice) and following his lead.

"So, uhhh, yeah.....follow me, kids!"

Talon turned walking with a hint of swagger through the streets. Ghost stared blankly at the two for a brief moment. His intentions were impossible to read behind the motionless face of the assassin's mask. Adding in his equally motionless body, clad in the deepest of black and carrying the large rifle on his back didn't help much either. Blue light filled the air in front of him, symbols forming in an attempt of communication.

"........I.......uh.....idk....."

He turned to follow his cousin.

The tomboy couldn't help but stare curiously at the blacksmith. She was so not used to the world of gaming. Maybe she should have started off with something easier. Like that Maria game or whatever. But then she probably wouldn't have had a lead on where to look.

Too late now, anyway.

Princey made a face when asked why she wanted to find them, but sighed. He had a right to know, she supposed, if he was helping her with this. "I...I want to be their friend." She scowled at the ground for a moment, hating how absolutely childish that sounded, before snapping her attention back to...whatever his name was. "Are you sure that's all you know? I'd like to run into them sooner rather than later, and it doesn't seem like you're giving me everything."

She wasn't quite THAT dumb.

(Least I don't spell Berserker with a Z...and blame bryan....)

She tilts her head and swishes her tail, listening to Talon before blinking and staring at Ghost for a moment. For a player, he sure was rather quiet and motionless....was he not using his microphone and such? "It's not that hard....haven't you ever played a game before? Better yet....haven't you even played the tutorial? They tell you where things are, you know..."

With a flick of her ear, she follows the 'eager' elf shrimp and the motionless human, looking around to see that no one seems to be taking interest in them any longer. "I hope we don't get a damsel in distress quest again....Those get very annoying after they start to pile up."
