"Looks like it's party time!"

In an instant, gloved hands shot to the side of their own, each one curling and embracing the handle of individual weapons. Dettaching from the harness, twin blades flashed into view, each one hooking over the hands of Raven, lowering into wicked fangs of weapons.

The Hook Daggers.

Dust kicked up as the boots of Blair spread into a fighting stance, tearing the grass and churning the earth beneath them. His arms rose, each blade begging for the taste of blood, a smirk upon the face of the demon hunter.

He only hoped his thirst to live was greater than the attacker.

"Huh?" Zora perked up as she heard a snarl before grinning. She punched her right fist into her left palm as she walked up next to Fayt. "Finally! Something to do!" she said, then froze. She looked at her right arm and cursed out loud before crossing her arms and immediately sitting down. "For the love of...Yeah, I'm useless. Why don't you show us your little butter knives, Trolly?" She was obviously irked that she can't really fight with her non-dominate arm and didn't feel the need to ask Fayt to work his magic on creating a weapon for her...and Zora certainty wouldn't ask the 'white haired troll' if she could borrow one.

Frankly, Ima was confused as to what was happening, as well as still feeling tired and cold. But she knew that Takato needed help and that she wouldn't be able to do it, so she simply nodded her thanks to the kind woman.

A large beastly maw shot out from the trees, four claws slamming into the ground as an almost jackal like beast stared them down. It was about the same size as a tank, each footstep causing the grass to part and shake slightly. Fayt seemed confused and took a stance, his hands slipping down to hold the blade in two palms. It made no sense, the report didn't mention anything about any large scaled lifeforms. Still, he couldn't refute what he was seeing directly in-front him, nodding to Zora and her words before jumping forward with a yell. The blade tore into skin, but the blue-haired boy was simply tossed away by an oversized tail that struck him directly in the chest. He coughed and landed in a skidding motion, shaking his head as he looked up.

...Advance..

Fayt blinked. Huh? He took a glance over at the white haired warrior and Zora, noticing that neither of them had moved their lips. He shrugged away the odd voice and took up his blade, pointing it downwards as he spread out his feet in the same stance. It seemed the odd beast wasn't pleased with the silence, letting loose a drool dripping roar before jumping towards them with the intent to swallow them whole..

-

The woman and her helpers had brought the two into a warm castle, walking along stone halls before placing them within beds, a comfy fire-lit room being their new home for the moment. A certain Magi never once budged, his metal attracting much attention with the nurses that surrounded them. Oddly, the grey-haired woman that had brought them in seemed fixated on the blond before she turned to look at the small child, bending down to look her in the eyes. "Are you okay, young...one?" Her words seemed slightly strange, as if confused or searching for something. Either way, there was true concern within her gaze as she introduced herself with a kind smile,

"My name is Clair."

"Let's go, fido!"

Raven cracked the whip of his tongue as he launched himself at the best, arms stretched to his side in a v-shape, trailing behind him as he picked up speed. The pure ability of the warrior was impressive, but not until he had arrived to the large canine-like creature did the display begin.

With a graceful backwards bend he dodged a claw, spinning as he did to dig the end of his hook into it and pulling himself off of the ground in a spectacular backflip, completing two rotations, then slamming his heel onto the neck to the monstrosity.

A wild smirk grew on his face as he did, like this was all part of a game.

The child was very grateful for the light and warmth from the fire, and couldn't help but scoot a little closer. As long as she didn't move too much or use her powers, she should be fine. Still, Ima hoped that she could get into the sunlight soon.

She was also very worried about Takato. Humans were so fragile, and Takato even more so, it seemed to often be the case. He was always getting hurt, and she often wondered if there was ever a time that he wasn't slightly injured. Such a silly, silly human...

When the woman spoke, she turned her head and smiled, an innocent and grateful smile that all children knew, but at the same time, one that seemed time weary. "I'll be okay. I'm more worried about my friend." She gave a thumbs up, as if it were undeniable proof that she would be fine. "Thank you so much Clair! My name is Ima."

"Jeez, don't have too much fun killing other animals, stupid abuser." Zora muttered, rolling her eyes before standing up. "And you really need to stop showing off. I'm betting that's how you're gonna get killed: you and your toys."

The neck didn't even budge an inch, two eyes snapping up as the hair upon it's body suddenly began to shake. A single rope-like strand of hair shot up and formed into a cold spear, only for Fayt to slash the appendage to dust with a swirling strike and land behind the beast, panting with narrowed eyes and watching the creature as he backed up and started breathing deeply. The beast was not as he expected, the tail of the creature peeling back before coming up to shoot at Zora in a long stride. A second mouth was revealed, this one far more disgusting and feral, drool joined by blood dripping upon the grass from yellow and dirty fangs,

-

"Ima, huh?" smiled Clair as she stood up and took a glance over at the Magi before sighing, walking over to the unresponsive male before placing a hand upon his metal limb. She seemed far too interested in it, but never said a word about it. "This...boy...is in pretty bad shape. Your friend might not awake for...quite some time, I'm sorry." Her words were evasive and rather strange, eyes moving to the window as the sun began to shine through it. Whatever the woman was thinking about, it must of worried her, directly staring out through the wind towards the massive crater near the gate.

"...Child, what is this boy..? For that matter...are you human?"

"..." Zora blinked as the 'tail' of the beast shot towards her before letting out a heavy sigh. Her right hand lunged out and grabbed it; the mouth inches from her face. "Looks like I gave you too much credit...THAT was a kick?! Please!" She grunted before grabbing the 'tail' with her other hand and dug her feet into the ground. "A baby could kick harder than you...You're gonna pay for making me strain my freaking arm like this."

Moving one of her feet back, she pulled at the tail with all her might as well as raising it, attempting to lift the beast into the air before slamming it back down on the earth. She pulled it once again and raised her right leg. "THIS is a kick, you emo kid of failure!" she shouted before stomping down with all her might on its body where she believed the ribs and lungs were.

Internally, Ima couldn't help but panic. Takato might not wake up for a long time? Was he really badly hurt again? Oh, why did humans have to be so fragile and delicate? They always got hurt so easily...

She was getting the funny feeling again.

To Clair, the alien's response was simply reflex. "We're human." Ima replied, half lying. "We just have funny powers and Takato has a shiny arm." She looked at Clair, worried and innocent. "Will he be okay?"

"No, wait!"

The beast was picked up, being slammed into earth with a loud crack before she tried to stomp on it with all her strength. Sadly, she failed to realize what Fayt had learned. A shattering sound followed as the body suddenly split off and formed into a web of tentacle-like hair, each strand parting to show nothing but ruby rock beneath the fur and not a single organ in sight, the swarm of lashing ropes grabbing her mid strike and slowly dragging her towards a third opening mouth on the rock stomach, a roar shaking the air with vile breath. The blue-haired boy flew through the air and let loose a strike with his sword, cutting the lashing rope-like appendages apart before catching the girl and skidding to a stop, sweat dripping off his head as he looked at Zora in the eyes.

"H-Hah...are you okay?"

Elsewhere, the "creature" was just growing more annoyed. The third mouth faded and it stood up, it's tail-mouth becoming furred and skinned once more, a growl echoing from the main maw..

-

"Maybe.." toned Clair as she stared at the boy, trusting the word of the small child as she placed a hand upon his arm before pulling away and turning back to the girl. It was hard to explain what was wrong with the boy. In all purposes, he was perfectly healthy, yet his body seemed drained beyond all reason and there was not a single twitch on the body. She made no move to comment on the odd situation before bending down to the small girl, her lips moving softly. "Ima, can you tell me how you arrived on that stead of thunder..? How did you two...drop from the heavens?"

Raven's eyes darted from the blue-haired swordsman, to the multi-pieced hair monstrosity, to the girl, and back to the creature. A twinkle caught the main attention of his gaze, red glistening over his cornea. He had no idea what the hell this thing was, but the scent of the nether world was no where about it. This thing wasn't demonic, and in fact was from the living world! what kind of bastard was this?

Either way, he had a target.

His right hand pulled back, an aura of chaos beginning to fade into life along the outline of Raven. Wicked energy seeped along his body, flowing into the blade attaching itself to his hand, the weapon itself pulsating under the pure force of the posession. A simple curve turned jagged, blade blackening, a pentagram of equally burning red etching onto it.

"aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"

A blood-curdling war cry set off the charge of the hunter, now letting his "true" self take over, animalistic urges to kill blocking his need to protect. His claw-like weapon took aim as his arm thrusted at a bone-shatteriing speed, the steel blade empowered by hellish force taking aim at the ruby-like core.

"Ooof!" Zora said as Fayt caught her in his arms. Shaking her head, she gave him a lazy glare as well as a raise of her eyebrow. "Can't you tell me if he can do that BEFORE I try to stomp a hole in its side?" She asked before getting up and dusting herself off. "Thanks for the save..." She let out a mental sigh, hoping Raven wasn't in the mood of insulting her of her failed kick right there.

"I'm a bit confused about that too, actually..." Ima said, twisting a lock of hair while thinking. "The thing we were on broke for some reason, and we ended up here...Takato did some neat magic stuff again, but then..." She glanced at Takato sadly before looking back to Clair. "I just stopped us from going splat."

It worked. Kinda. The crimson core began to glow and the grass began to heat up, flames licking through the air as an orb of light formed and expanded. Then, it exploded. Fayt took a diving jump and landed behind the pod, just as the area was overtook by the explosion. Odd enough, it formed a perfect sphere in the field that never touched the trees around them, erasing the earth below and scorching whatever else was available. This included trying to eat the trio in a vortex of fire and raw energy. Thankfully, the Leingod was safely behind the pod, which had been built to survive the vacuum of space, let alone a freshly let loosed bomb of sorts.

-

Magic? Clair blinked at that before putting it down to basic child innocence of the word, her eyes looking down at the worried girl before she gave her a simple simple. "I see..." She didn't mention anything about what Ima had uttered at the end, putting it aside for the moment before she arched an eyebrow. Whatever the blond male had done caused enough damage and mayhem to cause a certain Nel to respond in an instant, a woman who was currently being checked over after being hit by an odd metal orb. All in all, she expected that the only way to get some straight answers would be to wait for the male to awaken..

"Whoa!" Zora jumped back and away from the explosion. "Damn it, Raven, take us into consideration! Are you trying to kill us?!" She shouted as the explosion faded away. She winced in pain before turning to her right arm, which was still covered in the familiar red cloth of Takato's jacket.

"We better get going. Staying here is pointless now that that...thing...is dead."

Flames danced upon the body of Raven as he layed there in the center of it all, smoke rising up. His skin had been seered, flesh parted from heat and shrapnel kicked up from the blast. The once pretty boy expressions of raven had been damaged to a great point, even his hair blackened by the smoke.

Then, flames of orange were overtaken by flames of red and black, each one encircling the wounds scattered over Blair's body. They pulled in closer and closer, and where once thought destroyed was now revived. Fresh skin replaced singed, hair shined in a flashing silver, exposed muscle and blood concealed under new replacement. Even clothing regenerated.

There lay Raven, body now appearing as if untouched by the hands of battle, but yet he did not move, body motionless. His demonic blood had restored his vitality but the pain had rendered him unable to move.

Ima nodded and moved a little closer to the fire. Sometimes the girl just wished she had a portable sun...

...Hmm...

Other than her scooting and nodding, Ima did nothing, simply waiting for Takato to wake up, and hoping that it would be soon.

Fayt nodded and dug his sword into the ground below him, panting softly from the battle. It was easy to see that the boy hadn't fought much beyond a battle simulator, a weak laugh echoing over his lips as he began to walk over to the downed male and Zora. "T-That thing was a OPA, I'm almost sure of it..." He seemed concerned, frowning with thoughts running over in his head. He was surprised at these two, he didn't know they were so skilled with Symbology to accurately use it like that in battle. It was not a common thing, no matter how much Symbology itself was. He blinked and looked over the only female, a small worried smile growing across his lips,

"Are you okay? He looks out of it..."

-

The silent body of Takato twitched, an almost unseen flash crawling along the metal arm as hints of cracks formed in the steel. He didn't awake though, not yet. The lady speaking to Ima had not even noticed this one tiny action, suiting to open a chest and root through it without a word. A single blue orb was in her hand, the very same orb that the Magi had been holding upon decent to the planet. Clair must have taken it, her eyes looking at Ima before she gestured for her to follow, "I...your friend had this in his possession. I'm rather puzzled how he got hold of a Sphere of Apris, but maybe it will show us both something in the Viewing Fountain. Can..you please come with me?"

Ima noticed the small flash, but as it was so small the girl simply thought that she had imagined it.

The child bit her lip in thought. She wasn't quite sure if she wanted to leave Takato, and she wasn't sure if she should leave the light and warmth of the fire. It kept her relatively stable, but didn't really give her much more energy than she used by simply sitting where she was.

Still, she was very curious as to what Clair was talking about...

Eventually curiosity won out. "Okay!" She told her new friend as she walked after her. She glanced at Takato and gave a mental apology and get well soon before turning back to Clair with a smile.

~OPA...?~ Zora repeated in her mind before shaking her head and dismissing the thought. Best not to ask about it right now.

"Let's just leave him here!" She suddenly said, closing her eyes and crossing her arms. "That dead weighted troll will just slow us down." A tone of silence passed by before Zora opened her eyes, an annoyed expression on her face, before she sighed. Letting out a string of curses, she walked over to the fallen Raven and picked his body up and over her left shoulder. The blue haired girl staggered a bit, not accounting the added weight of his hidden weapons, letting out more curses and resisting the oh so temptation of throwing him and/or his weapons off the cliff behind the crashed escape pod.

"L-Let's go...we've already wasted enough time." She struggled to say as she started to walk. "We'll be lucky to get there before dark..."

Oh how much she wanted to leave him abandon in the middle of the woods...if only Fayt and his rather innocent expression, actions, and kindness wasn't so damn innocent and kind.

Silver hair slung down over, hiding the face of Raven. As the group carried on, muscles within his lips tensed, their curling revealing a devil-fanged smirk outside of their line of sight.

Poetic justice..........

He thought. A free ride and a little comedy for his trouble. Getting hit with the explosion kinda sucked, though. Oh well, he'll get over it with his nap.

Clair led Ima outside into the garden of the palace, the bright sun above burning down upon them as the woman took the sphere and placed it upon a wall connected to a rather impressive fountain, one with multiple golden rods sprouting from the earth. The water in the beautiful fountain began to glow, shivers of light expanding brightly off it as the sphere embedded in the stone burst with raw color. Images formed in the air, in the town itself before lashing outwards, a single blond figure coming alive that was talking to himself while holding a certain sphere. It was like watching a video to Clair and the small alien girl, one that put you within it without the simple ability to touch or interact with the recorded events.

"...I do not know how long it has-.......-but I am starting to feel the side effects of-.......-it grows worrying, my arm shows-.......-time left." The image of the Magi seemed to shudder every few seconds, the words and sentences cutting off, becoming worse and worse. Clair looked over at the implanted sphere, quickly taking notice of the cracks within it. It must of been badly damaged from the fall. Whatever he was talking about, he seemed scared, downright terrified. Yet, there was something in his amber eyes that made the beautiful Lady of Apris flinch. Anger. He was impossibly angry with someone, or himself.

Then he said something that made Clair freeze,

".....-Got to-......-yes, kill-........-no other-..........."

What?

The image faded, ending with a screech.

-

"Y-Yeah..." laughed Fayt, obliviously tired as he walked along the girl, his basic sword within his arm. That battle must of taken more out of him that he thought, panting every few moments as he followed the directions given to him by the Quad Scanner. He had something to ask the pretty girl walking with him, but he didn't have the will to do so at the moment, focusing getting to that village before he collapsed. What he wouldn't give for a soda, his eyes blinking away the darkness that had begun to peek out from the sky above them. His thoughts slowly began to turn to his family and Sophia, sadness twisting within his body with each footstep,

Wherever you are, I hope you're okay...

"....." Zora blinked...and blinked...and blinked as she stared at the fallen Leingod next to her.

"Damn...didn't think he'd pass out as soon as we got here..." she muttered. She shot a glance at Raven's 'unconscious' body. Looking around, she lifted his body off of her now sore shoulder and tossed him to the ground, not caring if he got hurt or anything. Soon, she slumped down to the ground, letting out an exhausted sigh as she rubbed her tired eyes.

"Is anyone here?" She called out, cupping her mouth with her hands. "I need help! These two guys are passed out!"

The alien sighed happily as she felt the sunlight on her skin. It felt really nice...it took a lot of willpower for the girl not to stop right there and lie on the ground and soak up all the sun that she could.

Still, Ima followed Clair to watch the odd video thing, and quickly grew concerned. What was that? Was Takato okay? What was he talking about?

She turned to Clair, a million questions in her eyes.
